[ESP-ENG] Ladies Of Hive - Contest #203 | Mis tres películas favoritas para ver en un fin de semana ❤️

Hello friends of the Ladies Of Hive community, I hope you are well today. Today I wanted to join the contest #203 of the community in which our friend @irenenavarroart invites us to answer two questions of which I chose the second one: My three favorite movies to watch in a weekend. It's great to be able to talk about different topics and also include our hobbies how in my case is watching movies, I love the world of cinema and being able to know stories of any genre but I can't avoid mentioning the three movies that I like the most and that I could watch no matter how many times 😂. I would like to invite my friend @mandysmoon to join this initiative 😊

The first movie that comes to my mind is Always the same day or in English One Day, this movie stars Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess where they talk about a story of friendship and romance between Emma and Dexter, two young people who met at the graduation party of the university and since that first night they spend together can not help but stay in touch, so they spend a few long years between reunions, loves, jobs, fears, happiness and sadness. It is a romance story that caught me from the moment I saw it although it is quite beautiful it is also very depressing because it has an unexpected ending for those who do not know about this movie. Despite the ending I consider that I wouldn't get tired of watching the beautiful story of Dexter and Emma, how life separated them by different paths but despite what happened they could get to love each other and say what they felt for each other 🥺

The second movie that was a pleasant surprise when I saw it was The Great Gatsby, starring Leonardo Di Caprio and Carey Mulligan is a film adaptation of the novel of the same name by F. Scott Fitzgerald, published in 1925. Maybe some of you already know this story from the book or the movie, it is about a young man who inherits a great fortune and becomes the richest man in town, where he is known for throwing great parties in his mansion and who besides having a past that haunts him for the desire of power, there is also a love that he has not been able to forget, the love of the young Daisy whom he met as a young man and with whom he fell so much in love that he promised to return to his life and give her everything he did not have at that moment, to give her the life he believed his beloved Daisy deserved. It is a story that not only talks about the love between Daisy and Gatsby, but it also talks about the problems of the 20s and how at that time there was a very different mentality than today, it has a little bit of everything but what I liked the most was the great chemistry between Leonardo Di Caprio and Carey Mulligan, I really enjoy seeing them on stage and the soundtrack of the movie makes the story even more incredible.

The Parent Trap is one of my favorite movies of Lindsay Lohan and the old Disney who always repeated it and I couldn't avoid watching it in my childhood, I doubt that some people don't know it but to give you a context this movie tells the story of two twin girls who were separated by their parents at birth and then by fate they meet at a summer camp where they realize the physical similarities of both and through a photograph broken in half they learn that they are daughters of the same parents, so they put together a whole plan where they will pretend to be the other in order to spend time with their father or mother they don't know. It is one of those movies that makes you feel so happy especially reminds me of all those nights when it was on TV and I stayed watching it, I love the story, how beautiful and funny it is where it is difficult not to get a smile and feel the emotion of the story.
