This can fracture in determining situations by various factors among them, frustration, social imbalance, greed, disappointment, death, among others, become the source of that argument that structures the social whole and the harmony that maintains in it. Greetings @theanimerealm community, from this, I want to talk about the anime Babylon, which I do not know how I came to see it, only that I was struck by the image and from the first chapter attracted me.

Synopsis
Most people who focus on the career of police, detectives, Thursday and so on seek the sense of justice and do good, not all, but let's say a large part. In this, enters Zen Seizaki, an officer of the newly created district in Tokyo, called Shiniki; a place of experiments so to speak, because it wants to adopt new laws and concepts that differ from the current ones, but, as he enters a case of a pharmaceutical company, he gradually discovers dark political secrets in which the district is involved.
After that, he is not only affected psychologically, but also his environment, losing several of his colleagues in the process and all because of one person, Ai Magase, a girl who hides a very frightening ability, playing with the mind of whoever comes across her path. She will also be a crucial bridge to a law they wish to pass: The Suicide Law, where everyone has the opportunity to end their life without being judged for such a thought and action.
The world of our protagonist gradually collapses, until at one point he doubts what he had defended so much, justice. And, above all, it brings into debate a moral issue that is quite recurrent in everyday life: suicide; approached from the reflective perspective of each one of us, that is, the perception we have about it.
With Babylon, I can not say that I like it and I would watch it all the time, because there are certain plot flaws, especially in the final chapters, which do not end up completely enter the enigma that surrounds the characters in question, even more with the antagonist of the story, I feel that her background is not clear, maybe it's her nature, it's like what is known as the killer gene; She was a psychopath and that's it, there is no doubt about it, but in my opinion something else was missing, I did not clarify how she reached the goal she had set, easily with her ability she could get everyone to commit suicide and that's it, why it was necessary for her to comply with the Law.
I love the way the music plays with each scene, I can't deny that and it has an aesthetic that fits very well with the development of the story. Also, I love the main image that promotes the anime, if you get to see it, you will realize that it tells you every detail that is presented in it and for me, that is a good illustrative and psychological resource.
Now, with respect to all the themes that are conjugated within the anime and the character of Magase, if we go back to the time of Babylon, obviously it is strongly influenced or, rather, it could be said that it is based on the harlot of Babylon, there is a connection between the two figures. The harlot, beyond being a physical person, is that symbolism of what the city represented, a place of drunkenness and prostitution, everything far from the "moral good"; well, something could be related to this character.
Magase is the personification of what was emerging in the district, an essential fact towards new visions and questioning what is good or not, what is fair and unfair and what is better, with regard to suicidal thought and action, since it is a clear breach of the harmonious balance that maintains society. Likewise, it is clear those two worlds denoted in the main character and the antagonist and how they come to the conclusion of what is good and bad, the first is continuous while the other ends, basically one lets live and the other interrupts it, ironic isn't it? On Magase's part.
This also reminds me of the k-drama Tomorrow, which emphasized the theme of suicide; it is true that suicide ends the life of the person who commits it, however, the lives of others are affected, especially those who belong to the closest circle and that, when such an act is committed, any relationship that you formed in life will be irreparably broken; so, for that reason it becomes something bad, adding that the life of each one is something sacred and should be valued.
At the time, when I watched the anime, there was a comment that it should be legal and accepted for those people who are suffering from an incurable affliction and being alive becomes cruel, because he had seen his grandmother suffer from chemo, and she was screaming to be allowed to die. This is also really something of much philosophical debate, because would she really be ending her life? I would like you to answer whether it is right or wrong for a person to wish to die, when they already have a condition that really prevents them, and even others, from living. Is it their right to ask for death?
In my opinion, yes, since I don't know whether to tell him that he is asking for permission or rather, he allows others to be aware of his decision and may agree with it and be affected not in a bad way, but rather assume that this person is really suffering and that being alive is a poison that consumes him and does not allow him to be at peace and leave in the best possible way, is a poison that consumes them and does not allow them to be in peace and leave in the best possible way, since death will come sooner or later, it is the surest thing we have, but, if we leave this world with a clear conscience, I believe that having lived does not become a bad thing.

Sipnosis
La mayoría de las personas que se enfoca en la carrera de policía, detectives, jueves y demás buscan el sentido de la justicia y hacer el bien, no todos, pero vamos a decir una gran parte. En esto, entra Zen Seizaki, un oficial del recién distrito creado en Tokio, llamado Shiniki; un lugar de experimentos por así decirlo, porque en él se quiere adoptar nuevas leyes y conceptos que difieren a los actuales, pero, al adentrarse en un caso de una farmacéutica, va descubriendo poco a poco oscuros secretos políticos en el que se envuelve dicho distrito.
Tras ello, no solo se va viendo afectado psicológicamente, también su entorno, perdiendo a varios de sus compañeros en el proceso y todo por una persona, Ai Magase, una chica que esconde una habilidad bastante atemorizante, jugando con la mente de quién se tope en su camino. Ella también será un puente crucial hacia una ley que desean aprobar: La Ley del suicido, en donde todos tienen la oportunidad de acabar con su vida sin ser juzgado por tal pensamiento y acción.
El mundo de nuestro protagonista se va derrumbando gradualmente, hasta en un punto duda de lo que tanto había defendido, la justicia. Y, sobre todo, pone en debate un tema moral bastante recurrente en el día a día: el suicidio; abordado desde la perspectiva reflexiva de cada uno de nosotros, es decir, la percepción que tengamos sobre eso.
Con Babylon, no puedo decir que es un anime que me gusta y lo vería a cada rato, pues hay ciertas fallas argumentales, sobre todo en los capítulos finales, que no terminan de adentrarte por completo al enigma que envuelve a los personajes en cuestión, más aún con la antagonista de la historia que, su trasfondo siento que no termina de ser claro, quizás sea su naturaleza, es como lo que se le conoce el gen asesino; ella era una psicópata y ya, no hay duda de ello, pero al mi parecer faltó algo más, no me dejo esclarecer el cómo llego al objetivo que tenia planteado, fácilmente con su habilidad podía llegar a que todos se suicidaran y ya, por qué era necesario para ella que se cumpliera la Ley.
Me encanta el juego de la música con cada escena planteada, eso no lo puedo negar y tiene una estética que encaja muy bien con el desarrollo de la historia. Además, me encanta con a la imagen principal que promociona el anime, si lo llegan a ver, se van a dar cuenta de que te va contando cada detalle que se va presentado en el mismo y para mí, eso es un buen recurso ilustrativo y psicológico.
Ahora bien, con respecto a todos los temas que se conjugan dentro del anime y del personaje de Magase, si nos remontamos a la época de la Babilonia, obviamente la misma se encuentra fuertemente influenciada o, mejor dicho, se podría decir que se basa en la ramera de babilonia, hay una conexión entre ambas figuras. La ramera, más allá de ser una persona física, es aquella simbología de lo que la ciudad representaba, un lugar de embriaguez y prostitución, todo aquello alejado del “bien moral”; pues algo se podría relacionar con este personaje.
Magase es la personificación de aquello que estaba surgiendo en el distrito, un hecho imprescindible hacia las nuevas visiones y poner en duda hacia aquello que es bueno o no, lo que es justo e injusto y qué mejor, con lo que concierne al pensamiento y acción suicida, ya que, el mismo, es una brecha clara del equilibrio armonioso que mantiene a la sociedad. Asimismo, se ve claro esos dos mundos denotados en el personaje principal y en el antagonista y como llegan a la conclusión de qué es lo bueno y lo malo, el primero es continuo mientras que el otro termina, básicamente uno deja vivir y el otro la interrumpe, ¿irónico no? Por parte de Magase.
Esto también, me hace recordar al k-drama Tomorrow, que ponía en énfasis este tema del suicidio; es cierto el suicidio acaba con la vida de la persona que lo comete, sin embargo, se ven afectados la vida de los demás, sobre todo, aquellos que pertenezca al circulo más cercano y que, cuando se comete tal acto, toda relación que formaste en vida, se romperá irremediablemente; así que, por tal motivo se convierte en algo malo, agregando que la vida de cada una es algo sagrada y que se debe valorar.
En ese tiempo, cuando vi el anime, había un comentario que debía ser legal y aceptado para aquellas personas que están sufriendo una aflicción incurable y el estar vivo se vuelve cruel, pues había visto a su abuela sufrir por las quimios, y pedía a gritos que la dejaran morir. Esto también realmente es algo de mucho debate filosófico, porque ¿realmente estaría acabando su vida? Me gustaría que respondiera si esta bien o mal que una persona desee morir, cuando ya tiene una condición que de verdad le impide vivir a ella, e incluso a la demás. ¿Está en su derecho pedir la muerte?
En mi opinión, si, ya que no sé si decirle que pide permiso o más bien, permite que los demás sean consciente de su decisión y puedan estar de acuerdo con el mismo y sean afectados no de mala forma, más bien asuman que esa persona de verdad está sufriendo y que estar vivo, es un veneno que la va consumiendo y no le permite estar en paz e irse de la mejor forma posible, ya que de algún la muerte llegará, tarde o temprano, es lo más seguro que tenemos, pero, si nos vamos de este mundo con la consciencia tranquila, creo que el haber vivido no se convierta en un hecho malo.
