🎬️ Movie: Serenity from 2005 🎬️

Cheers everyone, time for some action-packed sci fi from the old days. Serenity came out in 2005, directed by Joss Whedon which acts as a conclusion to the TV series Firefly, you've probably seen it? The movie is at least as good!😃

We follow the crew of the spaceship Serenity led by Captain Malcolm Reynolds played by Nathan Fillion, he tries to protect a psychic teenager River Tam played by Summer Glau from the powerful Alliance as she carries dangerous secrets that could threaten the Alliance's control of the universe. If you have seen the series, this is a mix of western and sci fi with an intense and dramatic story. In my opinion good acting performances with a charismatic Nathan Fillion and his dynamic with the rest of the crew create a strong core in the film and with cool physical performances by Summer Glau it is a feast for the eyes. Visually, the film's effects and action scenes are terrific, the fights are well choreographed and the script provides humor and sharp dialogues that provide a nice balance throughout the film. This is a clear 8 for me.
