Peacemaker's best friend is his pet eagle named Eagly. You just cannot help but love this damn bird. Eagly is quite possibly one of the best animal characters ever. I mean just wait until you see him wrap his giant wings around John Cena for a big hug.

Peacemaker really thought he was about to just get out of jail and go back to his normal life. That just isn't the case, no freedom for this guy. At least he can finally fulfill his sex addiction now that he is out of jail. He is forced to go back to work for Amanda Waller, who is the same person that got all of the villains together in The Suicide Squad.

If you like Deadpool's style of superhero film, then you are really in for a treat with Peacemaker. They really went out on a limb and did something here with a superhero tv show that nobody else is really doing right now. Peacemaker is super sexual and full of vulgarities. I had no clue what to expect going into this show, I almost didn't watch it. I would have been so sad if I had missed out on how amazing Peacemaker actually is. This is perfect for somebody like me who has a dark sense of humor.

Peacemaker's dad is a total asshole. His name is Auggie Smith and he doesn't care at all that Peacemaker just spent the last four years in jail. Not only is Auggie a dick, but he is a giant racist and the show is not afraid to acknowledge that frequently. Auggie is actually a white supremacist terrorist posing as a vigilante named The White Dragon. he is the leader of the Aryan Empire, but Peacemaker still tries to love him since he is his father. Just how crazy does that sound?

Another amazing character is Vigilante. This guy is obsessed with Peacemaker and pops up pretty much everywhere they go. He is determined to become Peacemaker's best friend and tries to help in any way that he can. Despite being extremely awkward, Vigilante is actually a pretty capable sidekick.

Then we have the rest of the crew that Peacemaker gets paired up with. It is quite the combination of characters, they all fit together perfectly. This consists of Harcourt, Economos, Adebayo, and Murn. Economos is the nerd who is constantly hilarious. Adebayo is secretly Amanda Waller's daughter and doesn't really have any specific skills. She does have a girlfriend though and the crew finds out in the funniest way imaginable. Harcourt is Peacemaker's handler who is the most badass out of the squad. Then you have Murn, the leader and only guy that actually seems to know what their missions are really about.

I mentioned that Peacemaker is a horny dude, well which makes Harcourt's fine ass a prime target. He cannot help but fantasize about her often, but she just isn't having it. The dynamic between the two is very fun to watch and I imagine that they will probably hook up eventually.

You'd think with all of the people I've mentioned so far, there wouldn't be room for anybody else. You'd be wrong to assume that, cannot forget Judomaster in his green outfit. This tiny little Asian manages to give Peacemaker a serious run for his money. The way they go back and forth talking shit to each other is simply perfect.

I've only watched the first 4 episodes, but so far Peacemaker is my perfect blend of action and humor. There is plenty to laugh at and the fight scenes are the furthest thing from borning. This show is probably my biggest surprise of 2022 so far. Forget what you think about John Cena, this is his best work yet in my opinion.

I cannot wait to finish this first season and figure out what exactly is going on with these mysterious butterflies that the whole plot is centered around.
