For me in the cinema, there is a very big dilemma with zombie movies, and that is that I have seen so many that I can easily say that the vast majority are fucking disgusting. They are usually filled with a pretty boring plot, the same old story, and very bad special effects, so much so that you wish you had never seen them. Also, it seems to me that it is a very versatile genre, a zombie movie can be both action, horror, suspense, and comedy. Zombies adapt to everything and that's great, finding variety in that aspect also helps not to get bored so much, since yes, it is a highly exploited genre, and bringing a new movie about the living dead is somewhat risky.

Zombieland is an old movie from 2009, where we see the typical, zombies and slaughter, but yes, they took care of giving that perfect touch of comedy, the movie really seems to me much more from comedy to action, of course, we could also say that it is a perfect balance of both. Without lying, I've seen it about 7 times, whenever I'm bored and want to laugh, just open Google and put it, but today I want to share why I think it's so good, and also recommend it, since I know it's frustrating to try to get a "good" zombie movie and end up crying in the corner of your room.

First I'll start by commenting on the plot and the "perfect" type of comedy they chose for this film. The plot is simple, a crisis begins due to a new virus and wow, zombies everywhere and a lot of chaos, the main thing is to escape from red zones and try to go to a safe zone, you know, I think zombie movie creators don't know another story XD. We start with Columbus, a very nerdy boy addicted to video games trying to visit his parents, then everything starts to go downhill and that's where he meets the other co-stars of the film, Wichita, Little Rock, and Tallahassee. Little by little they start to create a nice bond between all the characters and that's where the movie starts to get really good.

On the other hand, Jesse Eisenberg seems to be one of the best comedy actors, characterized by being silly and very nerdy. That is the exact essence that they gave him in this film, a boy with slight mental retardation but at the same time intelligent, oh, of course, and 100% cowardly. This is my favorite character in the movie, without a doubt, she is one of the ones that makes me laugh the most and above all, her acting as always is 10/10, the same with the other characters, Emma Stone played an incredible role, by the way, Columbus is hopelessly in love with her XD. The acting of the protagonists is very good, I can't complain about anything because they are quite good, they gesticulate very well and make anything laugh, the jokes are good and not as "outdated" as you might think, and they a unique connection is created between the 4 characters, it makes you like the movie much more.

The movie has many references and also good appearances, without a doubt the best and the one that gives the most laughter is that of Bill Murray, believe me, he is the best fucking scene in the movie hahaha. I really like how they adapted the abandoned, post-apocalyptic, and dark setting to wherever they went, we can also notice it in the zombies, they are very well done and they don't look like idiots with a bit of makeup on their faces, they really are scary, oh, and the movie is quite bloody. One important thing about a comedy movie is whether it's really funny, and yes, it's funny. I'm not saying you're going to die laughing, but if it will get you a few smiles, that's for sure. It's also fun to see how the protagonist of the film begins to create a survival manual for zombies with about 50 rules to "survive". They are literally the best rules, they are very ironic, but they make sense at the same time.

One of my favorite rules is "Finish off." It makes a lot of sense and I think it's one of the most used throughout the film.

Or for example this rule, is useful whenever you steal a car on the street.

The final mission of the film is uncertain, Columbus and Tallahassee try to save themselves first, but then these two girls also join and in the end, they betray them. Yep, there is a lot of conflict between the two couples over the question of trusting each other, in the end as always someone has to be a hero and save the others. The end of the movie is something I don't want to tell you about, but yes, there is a second movie and it's just as good too (for me it's even funnier). Zombieland is one of those movies that maybe you see the cover and you don't like it, but once you see it you say, damn, what a great movie! I hope you can see it and enjoy it as much as I do.

Para mi en el cine existe un dilema muy grande con las películas de zombis, y es que he visto tantas que puedo decir fácilmente que la gran mayoría son un puto asco. Generalmente están llenas de una trama bastante aburrida, la misma historia de siempre y muy malos efectos especiales, tanto así que desearías no haberla visto jamás. También, me parece que es un género muy versátil, una película de zombis puede ser tanto de acción, terror, suspenso, y comedia. Los zombis se adaptan a todo y eso está genial, encontrar variedad en ese aspecto también ayuda a no aburrirnos tanto, ya que sí, es un género muy explotado y traer una nueva película de muertos vivientes es algo riesgoso.

Zombieland es una vieja película del 2009, en dónde vemos lo típico, zombis y matanza, pero eso sí, se encargaron de dar ese toque de comedia perfecto, realmente la película me parece mucho más de comedia a acción, claro, es también podríamos decir que es un balance perfecto de ambas cosas. Yo sin mentir la he visto cerca de 7 veces, siempre que estoy aburrido y quiero reírme basta con abrir google y ponerla, pero, hoy quiero compartirles el porqué me parece tan buena, y también recomendarla, ya que sé que es frustrante intentar conseguir una "buena" película de zombis, y al final terminar llorando en la esquina de tu cuarto.

Primero empezaré comentando la trama y el tipo de comedia "perfecto" que escogieron para esta película. La trama es sencilla, empieza una crisis por un virus nuevo y wow, zombis por doquier y mucho caos, lo principal es escapar de zonas rojas e intentar ir a zona segura, ya saben, creo que los creadores de películas de zombis no conocen otra historia XD. Empezamos con Columbus, un chico bastante nerd y adicto a los videojuegos intentando visitar a sus padres, luego todo empieza a decaer y es ahí dónde se consigue con los demás co-protagonistas de la película, Wichita, Little Rock y Tallahassee. Poco a poco empiezan a crear un lindo vínculo entre todos los personajes y es ahí dónde la película empieza a ponerse muy buena.

Por otro lado, Jesse Eisenberg me parece uno de los mejores actores de comedia, característico por ser tonto y muy nerd. Esa es la esencia justa que le dieron en esta película, un chico con leve retraso mental pero a la vez inteligente, ah, claro, y 100% cobarde. Este es mi personaje favorito de la película, sin duda es uno de los que más risa da y sobretodo, su actuación como siempre es 10/10, lo mismo con los otros personajes también lo son, Emma Stone hizo un papel increíble, que por cierto, Columbus está perdidamente enamorado de ella XD. La actuación de los protagonistas es muy buena, no puedo quejarme de nada porque son bastante buenos, gesticulan muy bien y hace que dé risa cualquier cosa, los chistes son buenos y no tan "anticuados" como tal vez piensen, y entre los 4 personajes se crea una conexión única, hace que te guste mucho más la película.

La película tiene muchas referencias y también buenas apariciones, sin duda la mejor y la que más risa da es la de Bill Murray, creánme que es la puta mejor escena de la película hahaha. Me gusta mucho como adaptaron la ambientación abandonada, post-apocalíptica y tenebrosa a cualquier sitio que iban, también lo podemos notar en los zombis, están muy bien hechos y no parecen unos imbéciles con un poco de maquillaje en su cara, de verdad si dan miedo, ah, y la película es bastante sangrienta. Algo importante de una película de comedia es si realmente da risa, y si, es graciosa. No digo que vayas a morir de carcajadas, pero si te sacará unas cuantas sonrisas, eso tenlo por seguro. También es divertido ver como el protagonista de la película empieza a crear un manual de supervivencia para zombis con cerca de 50 reglas para "sobrevivir". Literalmente son las mejores reglas, son muy irónicas, pero tienen sentido a la vez.

Una de mis reglas favoritas es "Rematar". Tiene mucho sentido y creo que es de las más usadas a lo largo de la película.

O por ejemplo esta regla, útil siempre que robas un carro por la calle.

La misión final de la película es incierta, intentan salvarse primero Columbus y Tallahassee, pero luego también se unen estas dos chicas y al final los traicionan. Sip, existe bastante conflicto entre ambas parejas por la cuestión de confiar entre sí, al final como siempre alguien tiene que ser un héroe y salvar a los demás. El final de la película es algo que no quiero contarles, pero eso sí, existe una segunda película y es igual de buena también (para mi es más graciosa aún). Zombieland es de esas películas que tal vez ves la caratula y no te agrada, pero una vez vista dices, joder, ¡que gran película! Espero puedan verla y la disfruten tanto como yo.
