Greetings, dear cinephiles and seriephiles, I am grateful for sharing with this community of free thinkers, who are, deeply, lovers of the seventh art. I respect your reflections, opinions, and criticisms of the works of any genre with which you entertain yourselves to keep the spirit awake and the human intelligence active. It is also simple because this encounter with artistic production, as such, fosters the exchange of knowledge in the community and in the ecosystem. An entertaining exchange of thoughts takes place. Moreover, when I am able to read the posts, I enjoy the quality of the content of this community. It is extraordinary.

Respeto sus reflexiones, opiniones y críticas de las obras de cualquier género con las que se entretienen para mantener despierto el espíritu, se activa la inteligencia humana. Asimismo, sencillo porque este encuentro con la producción artística, como tal, fomenta el intercambio de saberes en la comunidad y en el ecosistema. Se produce un entretenido intercambio de pensamientos. Es más, cuando puedo leer los post, disfruto por la calidad de contenido que tiene esta comunidad. Es extraordinaria.

Exodus: Gods and Kings draws heavily on the biblical book, Exodus. I see this with the necessary subtlety so that what I express with this vision of Western culture is not determinant and fleeting. It is traditional, the form, as described in the first episodes of the film piece. Ridley Scott, I swim in the depth of the history of the Jewish nation, which casts the protagonist, Christian Bale, as the icon of Jewish culture "Moshe". It struck a chord with my psyche, because the director drives the film from the Jewish culture, breaking with the Christian paradigm. It is a subjective approach; I like the way he focuses the conception of the film project. I am a reader of the Bible and also of the Torah. I'm just starting out in these religious literary pieces, I read them for the well-being I have to deduce and compare everything, to place myself in reality. The film shows the life of "Moshé". As a fundamental member of the structure of the Egyptian empire, his status is impressive, he is positioned at the level of the social structure as a prince. He is appreciated for his political, social and military sensitivity by Pharaoh Seti, who considers him his favourite.

Éxodo: Dioses y reyes, se sustenta considerablemente en el libro bíblico, el Éxodo. Esto lo veo con la sutileza necesaria para que no sea determinante y fugaz lo que expreso con esa visión de la cultura occidental. Es tradicional, la forma, como se describe en los primeros episodios de la pieza fílmica. Ridley Scott, nado en la profundidad de la historia de la nación judía, que arroja a asumir al protagonista, Christian Bale, el icono de la cultura judía “Moshé”. Me dio un toque a la psiquis, porque el director impulsa la película desde la cultura judía, rompiendo con el paradigma cristiano. Es un planteo subjetivo; me gusta esta manera como focaliza la concepción del proyecto cinematográfico. Soy lector de la Biblia y también de la Tora. Estoy iniciándome en estas piezas literarias religiosas, las leo por el bienestar que tengo para deducir y comparar cada cosa, para ubicarme en la realidad. El film muestra la vida de “Moshé”. Como un miembro fundamental de la estructura del imperio egipcio, su estatus es impresionante, está posicionado el nivel de la estructura social en calidad de príncipe. Es apreciado por su sensibilidad política, social y militar por el faraón Seti, quien lo considera su favorito.

The film describes, succinctly, the life of "Moshé" from the moment he is born. When he was placed in a wicker basket across the river by his mother Mirian, he was rescued and adopted by none other than Jochebed, the daughter of the Pharaoh of Egypt. Subsequently, Mirian at the imperial court becomes the slave or wet nurse of the child rescued from the waters of the Nile River by the princess. He is raised in his childhood with Ramses, who is the heir to the throne.

La película describe, sucintamente, la vida de “Moshé” desde el momento que nace. Cuando fue puesto por su madre Mirian, desde niño en una cesta de mimbre a través del río, siendo rescatado y adoptado nada menos que por Jocabed, la hija del faraón de Egipto. Seguidamente, Mirian en la corte imperial se transforma en la esclava o nodriza del niño rescatado de las aguas del río Nilo por la princesa. Se cría en su infancia con Ramsés, quien es el heredero del trono.

Moshé, growing and developing as an adult, makes contact with a man who tells him of his real origin as a Jew, explains to him the history of the slavery of his people and the need for redemption and the return to Canaan, the promised land. Moshé is shaken and the need to liberate his people is initiated in his being, even if it means a rupture and confrontation with his brother, Pharaoh Ramses II.

Moshé, crece y se desarrolla como adulto, hace contacto con un hombre que le narra su real origen de judío, le explica la historia de la esclavitud de su pueblo y la necesidad de la redención y el regreso a Canaán, la tierra prometida. Moshé se estremece y se inicia en su ser la necesidad de liberar a su pueblo, incluso si eso significa la ruptura y el enfrentamiento con su hermano, el faraón Ramsés II.

Moshé, escaping from Egypt, becomes a shepherd in the desert. There, he meets God, who represents him as a child. Moshé, crying out for God's wrath upon Egypt, sends ten plagues upon the land. The plagues proliferated by the hundreds of thousands of frogs, immense swarms of locusts, flies, the plague of ulcers, intense hail, mosquitoes, the fullness of darkness and the death of the firstborn. All this array of evils befell the Egyptian civilisation.

Moshé, clama por la ira de Dios sobre Egipto, enviando diez plagas al país. Las plagas se proliferan cientos de miles de las ranas, capas inmensas de langostas, las moscas, la plaga de las úlceras, el intenso granizo, los mosquitos, la plenitud de oscuridad y la muerte de los primogénitos. These breathtaking effects were created with a realism that the film company has the opportunity to design with artistic flourish, thanks to the prodigy of CGI technology; "Computer Generated Imagery". This is a technique that is used to create magnificent images and visual effects that give the screen such accurate effects that depict the traditional Egyptian story as a genuine event.

Estos efectos impresionantes fueron creados con un realismo por la oportunidad que tiene la empresa cinematográfica para diseñar con fecundo proceder artístico, gracias al prodigio de la tecnología CGI; "Imágenes Generadas por Computadora". Se trata de una técnica que se utiliza para crear magnificas imágenes y efectos visuales que le dan a la pantalla esos efectos tan exactos que describen la historia tradicional egipcia, como un acontecimiento genuino.

After these fateful events that fell upon the Pharaoh's power, Pharaoh Ramses gives the green light to the Israelites, who were enslaved for 430 years, to leave Egyptian territory.
Moshé and the Israelites begin their pilgrimage through the intricate and difficult desert path to the Promised Land. After a few days, Pharaoh fervently decides to pursue with the Egyptian army. Moshé has his plan conceived by God and leads his people through the Red Sea. Here there was no parting of the waters, this my imagination passionately enjoys, because they waited for the natural phenomenon of the low water to be executed in order to successfully pass through the Red Sea strait. But here the technology does come into play, CGI to conceive of raising the waters and crushing the Pharaoh's army in order to advance towards his final onslaught.

Pero aquí sí entra en acción la tecnología, CGI para concebir elevar las aguas y aplastar al ejército del faraón y poder avanzar hacia su acometido final.

I am fascinated by the production and the aesthetics of the costumes and make-up of all the artists. But I am especially attracted to the romantic episodes that take place in the desert tribe, the goat and sheep breeding. His infatuation with Sephora, Beatriz Valverde, embodies with an extraordinary reality this performance with an elegance that leaves me speechless. What's more, I want to be Moshé, in the flesh, to love her for the rest of my life. The make-up and the tribal tattoo are impressive, I am in awe of how this tattoo is on her face. This is the ancestral Jewish culture embodied in the character of the Israeli woman. Her beauty is made by the historical researches of humanity and the human presence in the DNA, by the Spanish Beatriz Valverde, is an excellent selection made by Ridley Scott.

Me fascina la producción y la estética con la que confeccionaron el vestuario y el maquillaje de todos los artistas. Pero, tengo mi especial atracción por los episodios románticos que viven en la tribu del desierto, la cría de cabras y ovejas. Su enamoramiento con Séfora, Beatriz Valverde, encarna con una extraordinaria realidad esta actuación con una elegancia que me deja anonado. Es más, quiero ser Moshé, en carne y hueso, para amarla toda la vida. El maquillaje y el tatuaje tribal son impresionantes, estoy admirado cómo este tatuaje, está en su rostro. Esta es la cultura ancestral judía plasmada en el carácter de la mujer israelí. Su belleza está hecha por las investigaciones históricas de la humanidad y la presencia humana en los ADN, de la española Beatriz Valverde, es una excelente selección que realizó, Ridley Scott.

The role of the woman is substantial in this production, the cohabitation and subsequent marriage event in the desert gives it a vigour by displaying the family values of Jewish culture. Love, commitment, loyalty, engagement, commitment, hope, will, marriage and the fruitfulness of the family underpin the cultural heritage of the Jewish nation.

El papel de la mujer es sustancial en esta producción, la convivencia y posterior evento matrimonial en el desierto le da un vigor por la muestra de los valores familiares de la cultura judía. El amor, el compromiso, la lealtad, el compromiso, la esperanza, la voluntad, el matrimonio y la fecundidad de la familia son el sostén de la patrimonialidad cultural de la nación judía.

Emigration to the Promised Land has its difficulties; it is difficult. Sephora is there with her son Gershom supporting her husband Moshe in leading the people redeemed from Pharaoh's bondage. This close Israelite marital union cements the success of the expedition to the Promised Land.

I am left waiting for the episode of the tablets of the ten commandments with some thunder and lightning events, but Moshé, he carves on the stone by command of austere young man who represented with serene and stern authority our Lord, almighty of the heavens and the earth and all beings living on the world Earth.

Me quedo esperando el episodio de las tablas de los diez mandamientos con algún evento truenos y relámpagos, pero Moshé, labra sobre la piedra por mandato de austero jovencito que represento con serena y severa autoridad a nuestro Señor, todopoderoso de los cielos y la tierra y todos los seres que viven sobre el mundo Tierra.
