¡Vaya, qué buena película es "The Last Stop in Yuma County"! Sin duda, es una de las mejores del año. Eso no lo voy a discutir con nadie. ¡Vaya pedazo de película se ha mandado Francis Galluppi, quien ha sido el director de este film!

"The Last Stop in Yuma County" nos lleva a una árida y alejada zona desértica de los Estados Unidos, donde la casualidad reúne al grupo más heterogéneo de personas. Un vendedor de cuchillos se ve envuelto en un conflicto que resulta ser fatal para muchas personas y del que él milagrosamente se termina salvando, pero la ambición hace que pierda todo.

Wow, what a great movie "The Last Stop in Yuma County" is! Without a doubt, it's one of the best of the year. I won't argue with anyone about that. What an incredible film Francis Galluppi has directed!

"The Last Stop in Yuma County" takes us to an arid and remote desert area of the United States, where chance brings together the most heterogeneous group of people. A knife salesman gets caught up in a conflict that proves fatal for many people, and from which he miraculously ends up saving himself, but ambition causes him to lose everything.

Este vendedor de cuchillos se ve obligado a hacer una parada en una zona donde no hay muchas personas alrededor. Si te llegara a pasar algo ahí, nadie se daría cuenta hasta como en tres meses. Llega a una tienda con la intención de comprar gasolina y seguir su camino; sin embargo, el camión cisterna encargado de rellenar de gasolina se ha retrasado, por lo que se ve obligado a esperar en el lugar.

La calma se verá amenazada cuando un par de delincuentes lleguen a la estación con el mismo fin de llenar su auto de combustible. Correrán con la misma suerte, pues deben esperar al camión para poder recargar sus autos. This knife salesman is forced to make a stop in an area where there aren't many people around. If something were to happen to you there, no one would notice for about three months. He arrives at a store intending to buy gas and continue on his way; however, the tanker truck responsible for refueling has been delayed, so he is forced to wait at the location.

The calm is threatened when a couple of criminals arrive at the station with the same intention of filling up their car. They share the same fate as they must wait for the truck to refuel their cars. However, these two criminals are in a hurry because they have committed a crime: they have robbed a bank and stolen the money, so they are not willing to wait long at the location.

Las cosas se vuelven oscuras cuando estos delincuentes deciden intimidar y tomar por rehenes a todas las personas que han decidido hacer parada en dicho local. Amenazan a la camarera con matar a todas las personas si ella decide avisar a la policía o hacer algo para llamar la atención.

La situación se vuelve cada vez más tensa. Los personajes calculan sus movimientos y piensan en lo que podrían hacer los demás. La situación está puesta para el caos y el desastre, pues por un lado hay un par de bandidos dispuestos a todo y con nada que perder y, por el otro, un grupo de personas, cada una con intenciones y deseos diferentes.

Things turn dark when these criminals decide to intimidate and take hostage all the people who have decided to stop at the location. They threaten the waitress with killing everyone if she decides to notify the police or do anything to attract attention.

The situation becomes increasingly tense. The characters calculate their moves and think about what the others might do. The scene is set for chaos and disaster: on one side are a couple of bandits willing to do anything with nothing to lose, and on the other, a group of people, each with different intentions and desires.

La película nos envuelve en un juego psicológico en el que los personajes se manipulan unos a otros, luchando por ganar y asegurar su propia supervivencia. El hecho de que la acción se desarrolle en un pequeño local crea un ambiente de claustrofobia, volviéndose sofocante y asfixiante. Nos invita a esperar la desgracia en cualquier momento.

La actuación en "The Last Stop in Yuma County" es realmente espectacular. Cada personaje hace un buen trabajo. A mi parecer, la mejor actuación es la del viejo asaltante de bancos, un personaje duro, calculador y complejo, que se adueña de la situación en cuanto entra en escena. Es sin duda un personaje muy creíble.

The movie immerses us in a psychological game where the characters manipulate each other, fighting to win and ensure their own survival. The fact that the action takes place in a small location creates a claustrophobic atmosphere, becoming suffocating and stifling. It invites us to expect misfortune at any moment.

The acting in "The Last Stop in Yuma County" is truly spectacular. Each character does a great job. In my opinion, the best performance is by the old bank robber, a tough, calculating, and complex character who takes control of the situation as soon as he enters the scene. He is undoubtedly a very believable character.

En el clímax de la película hay una de las escenas de acción que simplemente es una de las mejores que he visto en mucho tiempo. Es una escena en la que casi nadie se salva, ni siquiera el personaje de la camarera, quien es el más entrañable de la película por su condición de vulnerabilidad. Sin dudas, este tipo de cosas se agradecen, pues es un toque de realidad que muestra que ser una buena persona no te exime de que te ocurran malas cosas.

"The Last Stop in Yuma County" va mucho más allá del suspense, la intriga y la acción. Es una mirada introspectiva a la moral, la codicia y la ética, donde los intereses personales se sobreponen a los de los demás.

In the climax of the movie, there is one of the best action scenes I have seen in a long time. It is a scene where almost no one is spared, not even the waitress character, who is the most endearing in the movie due to her vulnerability. Undoubtedly, this kind of thing is appreciated as it adds a touch of reality, showing that being a good person does not exempt you from bad things happening.

"The Last Stop in Yuma County" goes far beyond suspense, intrigue, and action. It is an introspective look at morality, greed, and ethics, where personal interests override those of others.
