THE INNOCENTS (2021) Suspense\ Terror

The film is 2 hours long, but it is not a boring or tedious film, it knows how to create moments and situations which are shown slowly, after all we discover together with the characters what they can or know how to do, the problem is when they start to use the their powers for something else and then your autistic sister comes into play creating a very strong suspension that makes you watch to find out and ask yourself the following question, what is she going to do? The film goes through many tense moments that can be a little uncomfortable because after all, they are children and we are watching a horror and suspense film. I don't like to give too many spoilers but it's a good film. My rating for it is 9. It's difficult to make long films. that you can continue watching, especially in such a fast-paced society that we live in today, I liked it and I hope you like it too. You can search for the film on Amazon as it is in the catalog or look on Google. This film is among the best films of 2022, according to Own evaluations from people who watched it, well I'll stop here I hope you watch it if you like the genre and like it, see you in another post about films, have a good weekend see you soon

Letterboxd: Connecting moviegoers around the world.

I remember that I used this app every day, because basically I watch movies every day. Even without having anything to say about a movie, I searched my mental collection to remember the movies I had already watched and marked them, gave notes and wrote my little reviews (because the characters are limited) about them, always with great excitement. This was almost a ritual for me. Today I still use it, but less frequently.

Atlas (2024): A Spectacle Science Fiction ~ Movie Review

Watching this is entertaining with lots of action scenes on the movie. Some people may discontented of the flow of the movie but I think this is one of the best movie in this year. There were some Sci-fi movies before but this one stand out from the rest because this is about revenge on killing the protagonist.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts/ Review

The film is set in the 90's and focuses on a key that the Maximals hid on earth, which is going to give a museum and when activated not only draws the attention of the Transformers, as with it they could return to Cybertron, also the servants of Unicron, who with the key could travel between galaxies and devour countless planets.

Film Review: "The Flash" (2023) from a 25-Year-Old's Perspective

As a superhero film heavily reliant on CGI, "The Flash" falls short of expectations in terms of visual quality. Some scenes, especially those involving The Flash's costume and the battle against Zod, look rough and unrealistic. Considering the lengthy production time, the subpar visual effects are quite disappointing.

Furiosa : A Mad Max Saga

Overall, if you like the Mad Max movies then this is worthy of the saga and it’s a VERY Australian film with the Aussie accents quite pronounced in this one. There is plenty of hooning around in the desert with ridiculous vehicles, weapons and stunts. I did laugh at a few of the crazy manoeuvres and couldn’t help but imagine how much fun they must have had making this film. It’s not for the fainthearted but if you can handle a bit of gratuitous violence then it’s definitely an enjoyable romp through the wasteland.

Fiscal Militar Doberman (Reseña) // Military Prosecutor Doberman (Review)

I loved the series, the action scenes are very real and the acting of its protagonists is excellent. It is also worth highlighting Kim Woo-seok's performance as the villain of the series, he excelled in his character. The way the story is woven is very good and it draws you in, wanting to know more, so you don't want to miss any episode. I watched the 16-episode series in two days, I wanted to know the outcome, excellent storytelling.

Review: When one day I Will sleep 🍿

From chapter 1 I felt bad, because I found it so sad that her life ended in such a tragic way and that she was the only one of her classmates who didn't make it, and from then on everything was crying for me hahahaha, because her earrings were with her grandmother, her best friend and her first love ( who was also her friend), and every goodbye broke my heart. Plus we were shown other secondary characters whose stories were no less painful.

Review and opinion of the Netflix series “To the lake” (1st season)

“To the lake” offers us a look and a different approach to what we usually see in series and movies of this type or genre, the fact that it has been produced in a country with a culture and idiosyncrasy very different from mine, made me keep very attentive to the dialogues in order to understand and learn the way of thinking and acting of the different characters. For me it was an exotic series from the point of view of how the script and the story in general is laid out. I will try to get the second season to witness the outcome of this interesting story, for now, I can only recommend the first season to everyone.

NOOB FILM REVIEW - TO CATCH A KILLER on Netflix

It made me think. Who else could've pulled out 29 random sniper kills in one night, and covered the act behind the sound of the New Year fireworks? And considering his age, the very rare sniper rifle that is not on record made me think that the killer is Lt. Lammark.

Cure (1997): one of the most famous Japanese thrillers | uno de los thriller japoneses más famosos

The feeling that this Kurosawa film left me is a little similar to the one I felt after watching Forgotten by Jang Hang-jun: the promise of a great story that deflates a bit in the second half and leaves a taste of outstanding debt. Something better, in my opinion, is Decision to Leave by Chan-Wook Park and much better, without a doubt, Old Boy and The Handmaiden by Park himself or Memories of Murder and Mother by Bong Joon-ho, which are also tremendous gems. Cure has good direction, a good script, good acting by the protagonist and his secondary characters and has almost everything to have been a great film. If it doesn't end up being that, I think it's because in the end the mystery doesn't have as much impact, although I recognize that the final scene, as an epilogue, does leave one thinking and questioning the possibility that the ending may not have been such. So far I haven't seen any more of Kiyoshi Kurosawa's films, but there are a couple of his titles that I would like to review first. However, to be honest, before doing that, I would rather watch more films by Ryusuke Hamaguchi or the aforementioned Chan-Wook Park and Kim Ki-duk (I'm not saying watch more Bong Joon-ho films because I've already seen everything he has released to date), but I would like to read your recommendations, which Asian thriller is your favorite? Which one do you remember that seemed extraordinary to you? I read you in the comments.

Series Review: Succession (Season 2)

This dysfunctional but incredibly wealthy family is back in the spotlight in this second season with new disputes, unimaginable alliances and many moments of tension and black humor as only this series can reflect in each episode. The idea of keeping the company has more than one worried thinking about their own benefits and making little hidden traps to try to get the news of the company's new CEO out once and for all. Logan Roy knows he has to start looking at his options and this generates a lot of stress and anger as he sees things getting more and more complicated.
