While watching the movie, I must say that I had a hard time associating such a form of government and tyranny with Spain, but this is a movie! Personally, in countries that have adopted a republic and are governed by democracy, the presence of kings, even if symbolic, disturbs me. But this is a political approach and not a comment that can be made in any movie review!
The subject of the movie is quite simple and it is embellished with the effort to get rid of the container, which I think is very simple. The regime of the country and the persecution are the elements that add value to the movie... but what I liked the most was the idea that there is no time or place to fight for survival.
Anything can happen to us at any time and we can find ourselves in similar struggles for survival. Sometimes the struggle is against nature, sometimes against the decisions we make, sometimes against other people like us, but as long as the goal is survival, it is common.

Many people think that parliamentary monarchy is symbolic, but it is not. The fact that a king does not rule does not mean that he does not possess authority and recognition. What is striking is the duality of sovereign power shared between the monarchy and the people. Another aspect is that the major full democracies have this type of institutionality.
I particularly like the parliamentary system that allows a president to be elected through congress. For me, the congress is more representative of the will of the sovereign of a nation. Because of this, the parliament can form the government and appoint the head of state of a republic.
It's this rush in the film that makes you want to watch the film, that makes it more interesting.
Nobody is exempt from this kind of situation.
