Thank you very much for your comment, it is difficult not to agree with everything you just said.

The issue of reboots, prequels and sequels has always conflicted me, because deep down it is always nice to return to those stories and fictional worlds that one loves, but there are more bad examples than good ones in this regard.

Better Call Saul serves very well to explain this, because it is precisely the resumption of an iconic universe, but its story has its own purpose that works in isolation, and it is difficult to question its existence as a whole.

For me, Zoey 101, iCarly and Good Burger (to stay within these examples) had the potential to return, but instead of creating an interesting story that paid homage to the original and could extend it organically, they end up being an insufferable rehash where the defects in the work are becoming more and more noticeable.
